Dr Leesha Nesarajah
Dr. Leesha Nesarajah is a committed and caring Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. Leesha is a Consultant Obstetrician at the Royal Women’s Hospital and has a public appointment at the RWH.
Leesha completed her Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2008 and was introduced to Obstetrics and Gynaecology during her residency years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. She commenced obstetric training in Victoria at Peninsula Health and the Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg. Leesha completed her fellowship at The Royal Women's Hospital, Parkville as the Principal Obstetrics Registrar. Leesha is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
Leesha believes in a compassionate, empowering and holistic approach to caring for her patients’. As an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and mother of two young children, Leesha understands that pregnancy can be an exciting yet anxious journey. She strives to ensure that her patients’ needs and expectations are fulfilled in a safe and supportive environment. Leesha’s rooms are located on site within the Royal Women’s Hospital on Level 2, Suite 5.

Practice Manager – Alli
Alli has worked with Leesha as her Practice Manager since setting up Leesha’s private practice. Alli started her career as a Division 2 Nurse at the Royal Women’s Hospital and has worked as a Practice Manager since 1994, previously with Professor Mark Umstad.
Alli is married and has two adult children. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her gorgeous dachshunds, Winnie and Betty.
Administration - Libby
Libby has been working with Leesha for over four years. Prior to that she worked with Professor Mark Umstad in the area of Obstetrics since 2000.
Libby is married with two adult children. Her interests are Pilates, travelling and spending time with her family, friends and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Hugo.
Administration - Ange
Ange has worked in Medical Administration for over 30 years. She has been working with Leesha since 2021.
Ange enjoys spending time family, friends and dining out in Melbourne. When she is not at work she is indulging her other baby, Cleo, her ragdoll cat who rules the house.
